Zach Parise - C/L - Penguins - OHL |
2012-02-19 |
| Zach Parise is back with the Penguins. The talented forward has been plagued by injuries ever since he was dealt to the Chicago Blackhawks for Steven Stamkos on November 24th. Since then he's played 3 games for the Hawks, 3 games with the New Jersey Devils and another 3 games with the Tampa Bay Lightning. That's a total of 9 games in 3 months for Parise after leaving Pittsburgh. Currently nursing a knee-injury, Parise is expected to miss another 7-10 days. It remains to be seen if he will be able to stay healthy with the only club he's spent the bulk of his career with. |

Teemu Selanne - R - Penguins - OHL |
2012-02-19 |
| The Pittsburgh Penguins made a splash this afternoon adding Teemu Selanne and Zach Parise in separate deals with the Chicago Blackhawks and Tampa Bay Lightning. Also joining the club from Tampa is young promising blueliner Brendan Smith. Leaving the team are Ryan Callahan and Tom Gilbert who are off to play for the Lightning while youngster Marcus Johansson leaves for the Hawks ZPHL affiliate in Michigan. The bar has been set. Will anyone match these acquisitions as the trade deadline draws closer? |

Jeff Young - GM - Canadiens - OHL |
2012-02-09 |
| Could changes be afoot in Montreal? Rumors are swirling that if GM Young cannot get his team going that the organization may bring in someone else who can get the job done. Young's Habs cling to the 8th and final playoff spot and have been horrible as of late. The Canadiens face off with the Isles tonight in a key match-up and if montreal keeps sliding heads will roll. Whether that is in the head office or on teh ice only time will tell. |
