Saku Koivu- C - Canadiens - OHL |
| Saku Koivu was the face of the franchise for years in Montreal as the team captain. He even led the team to Outlaw Cup in 2007. However his return to the Habs has not been a fairy tale ride that he or management imagined. The Habs playoff chances are bleak and they continue to sputter and fall farther and farther out. In a desperation last ditch move the Canadiens decided to change things up and stripped Willie Mitchell of his "C" and planted it on Saku's chest once again. With 15 games to play lets see if that "C" can lead to a miracle run into the postseason. |

That's a total of 9 games in 3 months for Parise after leaving Pittsburgh. Currently nursing a knee-injury, Parise is expected to miss another 7-10 days. Jeff Young- GM - Canadiens - OHL |
| Could changes be afoot in Montreal? Rumors are swirling that if GM Young cannot get his team going that the organization may bring in someone else who can get the job done. Young's Habs cling to the 8th and final playoff spot and have been horrible as of late. The Canadiens face off with the Isles tonight in a key match-up and if montreal keeps sliding heads will roll. Whether that is in the head office or on teh ice only time will tell. |
