Adam Payerl - C - Ducks - ZPHL 0000-00-00

Alexei Morozov - R - Penguins - ZPHL 2012-01-28
Having reached the All Star break the ZPHL's most dominant player has been Alexei Morozov. With 41 goals in 48 games he leads the race for the Krutov Trophy by seven goals and the chase for the scoring title by eight points ahead of linemate Linus Omark and Michigan's Alexander Radulov. If Morozov keeps his pace he's on route to score 70 goals this season. In 312 career games in the ZPHL, Morozov has 201 goals and 446 points.

Pascal Leclaire - G - Stars - ZPHL 2011-10-17
Pascal Leclaire remains undefeated in the early ZPHL regular season, posting solid numbers of 5 wins in 5 games, a .930 save % and a 2.20 gaa. If he keeps this pace he should be a finalist for the Mike Vernon trophy, awarded annually to the best ZPHL goalie of the year.

Miroslav Satan - W - Capitals - ZPHL 2011-10-17
Miroslav Satan is off to another great start in Hershey, scoring 6 goals in his first 4 games. With Palffy injured, Satan will need to keep up this pace to fill the offensive void. He's currently on a line with Patrice Cormier and Ladislav Nagy. Satan was tied for 6th in the ZPHL scoring last year with 47 goals and 110 pts.

David Hale - D - Jets - ZPHL 2011-10-15
Winnipeg Jets defenseman David Hale has decided to retire from professional hockey at the age of just 30 years old. Hale signed a two year deal with the Jets this summer but failed to make the club out of camp. He played two games with the Jets ZPHL affiliate in Calgary. Hale played 165 regular season games in the OHL, scoring 9 goals and 34 points. At the ZPHL level he had 27 goals and 117 points in 231 career games.

Alexei Morozov - R - Penguins - ZPHL 2011-10-14
Alexei Morozov is the Player of the Week in the ZPHL after scoring 7 goals in the Penguins first 4 games. After being held off the scoresheet in the season opener he came back to score back-to-back hat-tricks on route to earning the honors. His 7 goals lead the ZPHL. Tim Kennedy (BOS) and Denis Hamel (OTT) were honored as runner-ups.

Zigmund Palffy - W - Capitals - ZPHL 2011-10-10
Zigmund Palffy left tonight's contest against the Sault Ste Marie Long Shot after taking a hit from Justin Azevedo, injuring his right knee. He is expected to be out of the lineup for the next 2 months.
